Hi, I’m Kate.
Sometimes we need to make time to navigate the complexities of our lives. If you are struggling to move through a difficult time in your life or simply wish to explore your future options it can be really helpful to talk in a confidential space. As your counsellor or coach I will work collaboratively with you to understand what might be holding you back from leading the life you want and how you can make the changes you need to move forward.
As a trained professional in both Coaching and Counselling I take confidentiality seriously. I abide by the code of ethics set by New Zealand Counsellors Association (NZAC). I also enjoy working collaboratively with lawyers, GPs, nutritionists, work places and schools for you to build a strong support team.
How might we work together

Counselling
I offer counselling for both individuals or small groups in a warm and engaging space – either in person or online.
I am trained in Solution Focused Therapy and integrate this practice with Acceptance commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to support my clients to make sense of their lives.

Divorce Coaching
Divorce is likely to be one of the biggest and most heart wrenching life transition you will ever make and yet we are often expected to solve all these big decisions on our own at a very emotional time.
Having someone to guide you through the process can help you move through your divorce with care and dignity.

Workplace Coaching
I work with organisations who see the value in supporting the professional development of their employees and teams as well as providing periodic coaching / counselling to employees who may be going through a difficult time.

ADHD Counselling
Are you struggling to stay focused, manage time effectively, or maintain control of your thoughts and emotions?
If you or someone you know is experiencing these challenges, you might be dealing with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). As a registered counsellor and coach, I am here to provide guidance, support, and practical strategies to help you manage ADHD and navigate life with confidence.
I don't provide diagnoses, but I specialise in assisting individuals who already have an ADHD diagnosis or suspect they may have ADHD. Through a collaborative and client-centered approach, we can work together to create a personalised plan tailored to your unique needs and goals. .
Relationship Mediation
When communication breaks down, it can be hard to move forward.
Relationship mediation provides a calm, structured space for difficult conversations, guided by a neutral third party so both people feel heard and understood.
It can help couples and families work through conflict, communication challenges, separation discussions, co-parenting decisions, and other relationship tensions. The focus isn’t on who’s right or wrong, but on creating clarity and practical next steps.
